Join the Village for the Green Infrastructure Bike Tour

Join the Village of Glenview and Environment and Natural Resources Commission on a 9-mile round trip bicycle tour to view sites where naturalized shoreline stabilization and other innovative green infrastructure practices are improving water quality in Glenview’s largest watershed – the West Fork!

The ride starts at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 24. Meet at the river in Downtown Glenview (just west of Jimmy Johns, by the riverwalk). Register by emailing Natural Resources Manager Robyn Flakne at rflakne@glenview.il.us.

Stops on the route include the West Fork Riverwalk, Techny Basin and Gallery Park.

Be sure to bring water and wear a helmet. Helmets are required!
