Electronics recycling and document destruction event rescheduled for Sept. 6

The Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County will be holding a rescheduled Electronics Recycling and Document Destruction Event from 9 a.m. - noon on Saturday, Sept. 6, at Glenview Village Hall, 2500 East Lake Avenue.

Proper disposal of unwanted electronics is important, as discarded devices can contain toxic materials that contaminate soil and leach into groundwater, posing risks to human health and the environment.

Unable to attend? SWANCC also accepts electronics for recycling every Saturday from 9–11:30 a.m. at the Glenview Transfer Station, 3 Providence Way, Glenview.
