Make your way to Saturday's Farmers Market for free tree saplings

The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District and Glenview Tree Keepers will join the Green Table at the Glenview Farmers Market on Saturday, September 13, to give away free tree saplings.

The tree saplings will be provided in a one-gallon container, and Tree Keepers will be on hand to provide direction on planting and caring for the young saplings.

The Green Table is set up at the Glenview Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday through Oct. 25 to engage residents in conversations on topics like sustainability, recycling and protecting the environment.
