Blocktoberfest returns to Downtown Glenview on Sept. 27

Party band Sixteen Candles brings all the great 80's songs to life in full force as the headliner at Blocktoberfest 2025 on Saturday, Sept. 27.

Blocktoberfest runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. along Glenview Road between Church and Pine streets. Families can enjoy a Kid Zone with crafts, games, balloon art, costumed characters and more from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Music will be performed on two stages, starting at 11 a.m. with the German-inspired band Polka Confetti, followed by a revolving line-up of Sweeney, Twelve Tone band, Oil Lamp, Band of Very Ordinary Musicians. Head’s All Empty, Chicken Bone, Alphorns, Chris Karabas, Blue Rose, and Joey Acopiado. Sixteen Candles brings the 1980’s fun with an energetic two-hour closing set.
