Nominations for Hometown Heroes accepted through Jan. 31

If you have a friend, family member or neighbor with a connection to Glenview and is serving or has served in the military, nominate them today for the Village's Hometown Heroes program.

The Village, in partnership with the American Legion Post 166, recognizes 10 individuals each year with a street pole banner in Downtown Glenview along with recognition at a Board of Trustees meeting.

Applications for the 2026 Hometown Heroes class will be accepted through Jan. 31. Nominations received after this date will be considered for the 2027 class. All eligible nominees not selected in 2026 will be carried over for consideration in 2027 and beyond.
