Northfield Township Recycling Program reopens April 6

The 2026 Northfield Township Recycling program opens on Monday and will remain open during normal Road District business hours (7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday-Friday) at 237 Melvin Drive in Northbrook. The program will end for the year at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct 30.

Items collected for recycling include: batteries (all types), cardboard, CDs and DVDs, cell phones/pagers, electronics (no monitors), tires, eyeglasses, ink toner cartridges and more. See a full list of accepted items.
