The Village of Glenview is hosting a second Public Information Meeting to gather resident feedback and answer questions as part of a Pfingsten Road Safety Study.
Date: Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024
Time: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Location: Glenview Village Hall
The Village will be studying the Pfingsten Road corridor between East Lake Avenue and Willow Road to assess current conditions and identify potential improvements for traffic flow and pedestrian safety. Resident feedback and suggestions regarding roadway medians, islands, bump-outs, turn lane revisions, bike lanes, multi-use paths, pedestrian crossings, access restrictions, landscaping, signage, curb radii, speed, and street lighting will be incorporated into the study.
Representatives from the Village and our engineering consultant, Gewalt Hamilton Associates, Inc., will be available to discuss the components of the study and answer questions. There will be no formal presentation at this meeting, so residents may arrive at any time during the open house to participate.
If you are unable to attend, comments may be mailed to Dayna Adamczyk, Village of Glenview, 2500 East Lake Avenue, Glenview, IL 60026, or emailed to dadamczyk@glenview.il.us.
