Update 6:58 p.m.: One lane of traffic has been opened going in each direction on Waukegan Road

Village crews are in the process of repairing a significant watermain break at the intersection of Waukegan Road and Dewes Street. Waukegan Road is currently closed to traffic between Golf Road and Glenview Road.

The repair will likely take 4-6 hours to make, and crews hope to have one lane open later this evening and the road fully reopened later tonight.
