Cook County roadway resurfacing projects continuing on Sunset Ridge, Landwehr Road

Cook County resurfacing projects on Sunset Ridge Road and Landwehr Road are continuing the week of April 28.

Here's the latest on the projects:

Landwehr Road: Grinding of the roadway began this week and will continue through next week. Motorists should anticipate daily lane closures and delays. Consider taking an alternate route, if possible.

Additionally, the Village will begin a sidewalk extension project along the west side of Landwehr Road from Willow Road south to Hampton Court. This work is anticipated to be completed early next month.

Sunset Ridge Road: Grinding of the roadway was completed this week, and County crews will begin pouring the first layer of asphalt. This process will take several weeks to complete. Motorists should anticipate daily lane closures and delays. Consider taking an alternate route, if possible.
