Glenview Television wins three Best of the Midwest Awards

The Village's Glenview Television team recently earned three Best of the Midwest awards, recognizing the outstanding video and radio programs that are produced by Midwestern professionals who use PEG media centers or low-power FM stations to produce and/or distribute programming.

Videos are submitted from nine states, and GVTV won two Excellence Awards, equivalent to gold medals, and one Merit Award, equivalent to a bronze medal, in a variety of categories:

MERIT AWARD

The Village takes tremendous pride in communicating timely, accurate and engaging information to the public. In addition to the two GVTV original productions, the awards honored the Village's public meeting coverage, highlighting our commitment to transparency and production quality.

Digital Media Coordinator Emily Lopez produces Gimme 5, Glenview every month, and Multimedia Specialist Bryan Cosgriff produced the Glenview 125 short documentary story. Lopez and Cosgriff produce all Board and Commission meetings, as well.
