The Foxtail Glenview House

The applicant, The Foxtail Restaurant Group, is seeking a recommendation to the Board of Trustees from the Development Adjustments Commission for Zoning Variation and Certificate of Appropriateness for Final Architecture, Landscaping, Lighting at the Commission's August 6th meeting. At the June 3, 2025 meeting, the Board of Trustees will consider an Ordinance approving Final Site Plan Review, Zoning Variations, and Preliminary Architecture, Landscaping, Lighting, and Signage for The Foxtail Restaurant at 1843 Glenview Road. For more details, please view the staff report. The meeting will take place at 7:30pm in the Burnham Board Room in Village Hall, which is located at 2500 East Lake Avenue. All are welcome to attend!

On May 7th, the Development Adjustments Commission unanimously approved three zoning variations, final site plan review, preliminary architecture, landscaping, lighting, and signage. A fourth zoning variation to allow up lighting on the front façade was withdrawn by the applicant. The Commission also requested that the applicant revisit their plans for the proposed trash enclosure, including rotating the enclosure 90 degrees to prevent it from opening into the alleyway and adding additional architectural features to better align with the rest of the building. Next, approval will be considered by the Board of Trustees. The date has not yet been determined, but an update will be sent once scheduled.

A Public Notice has been published announcing a public hearing will be held by the Glenview Development Commission - Development Adjustments on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Village Hall.
