The week of August 4, the contractor installed the final patching around the islands on Harlem and the new curb on Dewes. The contractor also began installing the rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacons in the newly installed concrete foundations at the intersections of Harrison and Harlem and also Linneman and Harlem.
Next week beginning August 11, the contractors will begin striping. You should have received a notice on Thursday August 7th, asking not to park on the South side of Dewes to give the contractors the opportunity to install the striping 7’ off the curb line. About 20 minutes after that is installed you should be able to drive over it. We understand this is inconvenient, but it will help the striping process go a lot smoother.
