Lehigh Townhome Development

At the June 3, 2025 meeting, the Board of Trustees will consider an Ordinance approving the following related to a proposed townhome development at 1842 Lehigh Avenue: (a) an Amendment to a Planned Development, (b) Final Site Plan Review; (c) Preliminary Architecture, Landscaping, Lighting, and Signage; and (d) Preliminary Subdivision. For more details, please view the staff report. The meeting will take place at 7:30pm in the Burnham Board Room at Village Hall, which is located at 2500 East Lake Avenue. All are welcome to attend!

Thank you for your continued interest in the status of the proposed 34-unit townhome development at 1842 Lehigh Avenue! On May 14, the New Development Commission recommended the project for approval (7-1 vote). The recommended approvals (Planned Development amendment, final site plan, preliminary appearance, and preliminary subdivision) are expected to be considered by the Board of Trustees on June 3. The applicant will return to the New Development Commission at a later date to seek final design approval by presenting detailed information regarding tree preservation and landscaping.

The Lehigh Townhome Development is preparing for a public hearing! The proposed development, which would include 34 townhome units, is scheduled for a public hearing on Wednesday, May 14. The hearing will be held by the New Development Commission at Village Hall starting at 7 PM. The applicant is seeking recommendation to the Board of Trustees for a Planned Development Amendment, Final Site Plan Review, Preliminary Architecture, Preliminary Landscaping, Preliminary Lighting, Preliminary Signage, Preliminary Subdivision, and other relief as required.
