2026 Capital Improvement Project

Project Location

The proposed project in this neighborhood includes approximately 3,500 linear feet of improvements split into two phases.

Phase I -2026

Raleigh Road- Glenview Rd to the North Cul-De-Sac

Vernon Drive- Raleigh Rd to Grove St

Phase II -2027

Grove Street- Waukegan Rd to Raleigh Rd

Vernon Drive- Grove St to Northern Cul-De-Sac


Scope of Work:

  • New water main installation with new 1.5" water services and b-boxes
  • Roadway reconstruction with new asphalt pavement, new curb & gutter, and sidewalk
  • Upgrading and extension of storm sewer system, installing additional inlets, and storm sewer laterals for residents to connect to
  • Sanitary repairs as needed
  • Driveway apron replacement (in-kind)
  • Parkway restoration with sod

Design Open House- Oct, 23 2025

Contract Award- Jan 20 2026

Pre-Construction Meeting Phase I-March 2026

Anticipated Start Date Phase I-Mar 2026

Anticipated Completion Date Phase I- Fall 2026
