2026 Capital Improvement Project

The proposed project includes approximately 3,200 linear feet of improvements along Swainwood Drive, Alvin Court, Buttonwood Lane, Spruce Street, and Elm Street/Court.

Phase I- 2026

  • Swainwood Drive- Roosevelt Ave to Spruce Dr
  • Alvin Court- North of Swainwood Dr
  • Buttonwood Lane


Phase II- 2027

  • Spruce Drive- Fir St to Lehigh Ave
  • Alvin Court- South of Swainwood Dr
  • Elm Court
  • Elm Street- 1214 Elm St to Spruce Dr


Scope of Work

  • Roadway reconstruction with new asphalt pavement and curb & gutter through SSA
  • Upgraded storm sewer system, including new drainage structures along the new curb & gutter for improved drainage
  • Sanitary sewer and water main repairs/adjustments as needed
  • Street light relocations as needed
  • Driveway apron replacement (in-kind)
  • Parkway restoration with sod



Tentative Schedule

Oct 28 2025 - Design Open House meeting


Nov 2025 - Finalize design plans and bidding process


Jan 2026 - Contract award


Feb/March 2026 - Pre-construction resident meeting


April 2026 (Phase I) - Anticipated project start


Late Summer 2026 (Phase I) - Anticipated project completion
