The proposed project includes appproximately 1,900 linear feet of improvements from Swainwood Drive to Glenview Road.

Scope of Work

Reconstruction- Fir St to Prairie St

  • Roadway reconstruction with new asphalt, curb & gutter, & replaced sidewalk
  • New water main installation with 1.5" services and b-boxes
  • Upgraded storm sewer system, including installing new drainage structures
  • Sanitary repairs as needed
  • Driveway apron replacement (in-kind)
  • Parkway restoration with sod

Resurfacing- Swainwood Dr to Fir St

  • Roadway resurfacing
  • No curb & gutter
  • New 5-foot wide concrete sidewalk along the East side of the street to fill in an identified pedestrian gap.
  • Driveway apron replacement (in-kind)
  • Parkway restoration with sod

Resurfacing- Prairie St to Glenview Rd

  • Roadway resurfacing
  • New curb & gutter and a slightly narrower roadway to accommodate the new sidewalk
  • New 5-foot wide concrete sidewalk along the East side of the street to fill in an identified pedestrian gap.
  • Driveway apron replacement (in-kind)
  • Parkway restoration with sod



Tentative Schedule

October 28 2025- Design Open House meeting

Nov/Dec 2025- Finalize plans and bidding process

Winter 2026- Contract Award

Feb 2026- Pre-Con Resident Meeing

March 2026- Anticipated Start Date

Late May 2026- Anticipated End Date
