Larkdale Dr & LIncoln St Improvements

The week of March 16th, 2026, the contractor will continue installing new water main on Larkdale working east and installation of the new water main is anticipated to take four weeks.  

This week the contractors have finished the water main connection for the entire street and will begin the water main testing which is required before starting the water services. Be on the lookout for additional notices for short term water shutdown at your property, these will be brief and will occur in the morning or afternoon. Once again you will be notified the day before this will occur and contractors will knock on your door the morning of as well as a reminder. Next week, contractors will continue pavement removal in anticipation of storm sewer main on Larkdale.

Welcome to the project updates page for Larkdale Drive and Lincoln Street Reconstruction Project. Project updates will typically be posted on Fridays of each week. The contract was awarded to DiMeo Brothers Inc. of Elk Grove Village Illinois.  

During last week beginning March 9th, 2026 the contractor has mobilized for the project. This includes utility markings and layout in advance of the new water main and storm sewer spot repairs. The contractor began by making a connection to the existing water main on the West side of Larkldale and will continue installing the water main to the East.When there is temporary shut down for the water main residents can expect Glenview Public works will let residents know at least 24 hours before any planned shutdowns.
