2026 Capital Improvement Project

The proposed project includes approximately 2.300 LF of improvements along Elm Street and Hickory Court.

Phase I- 2026

  • Elm Street- Colfax Ave to McArthur Dr


Phase II- 2027

  • Elm Street- McArthur Dr to the South Cul-De-Sac
  • Hickory Court- Shermer Rd to Elm St

Scope of Work- Reconstruction Project

  • Replacement of existing water main with new 8-inch diameter water main, including new 1.5” water services and new b-boxes.
  • Roadway reconstruction with new asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, & sidewalk
  • Upgraded storm sewer system, including new drainage structures along the curb & gutter for improved drainage
  • Sanitary repairs as needed
  • Driveway apron replacement (in-kind)
  • Parkway restoration with sod



Tentative Schedule
  • Nov 13 2025- Design Open House
  • Dec/Jan- Finalize plans and bidding process
  • Winter 2026- Contract Award
  • Spring 2026- Pre-Con Resident Meeting- Phase I
  • Spring 2026- Anticipated Start Date- Phase I
  • Spring 2027-Anticipated Start Date- Phase II
