Waukegan Rd Water Improvements
2026 Public Improvement Project
Project Overview
The proposed Waukegan Road Water Main project includes approximately 1,500 LF of water main improvements from Harrison Street to just south of Overlook Drive.
Scope of Work:
· Water main replacement
· Upgrading water services to the b-box
· Pavement patching
· Parkway & driveway restoration
Following completion of this Village project, the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) plans to resurface this section of Waukegan Road in Summer of 2026.
Tentative Schedule
Contract Award: January 20, 2026
Pre-Construction Notification: March 2026
Anticipated Project Start: April/May 2026
Anticipated Project Completion: Summer 2026
