2026 Capital Improvement Project

Project Location

The proposed project includes streetscape improvements in downtown Glenview along Glenview Road, Depot Street, Pine Street and the alley between Glenview Road and Prairie Street.

Project Limits

  • Glenview Road: Pine St to railroad tracks
  • Pine Street: Prairie St to Glenview Rd
  • Depot Street: Prairie St to Glenview Rd
  • Alley: Pine St to Church St


Scope of Work 

  • Streetscape work includes new decorative colored concrete sidewalk, enhanced landscaping beds, and new street furniture
  • Roadway surface reconstruction or resurfacing along with curb & gutter replacement and new pavement markings
  • Storm sewer improvements
  • Extension of Depot Street to Glenview Road, including streetscape enhancements and storm sewer work. 
  • Burial of overhead utilities along Pine Street and the alley prior to roadway reconstruction or resurfacing.

Approximate start date- Spring 2026

Approximate completion date- Summer 2026
