What makes Glenview special?


The Village embarked on a comprehensive branding project in June 2025 and hired All Together Studio, a local design and placemaking agency, to lead the effort.


The goal of the project was to develop a brand for the Village that conveys Glenview's unique appeal, enhances Village communications and best markets Glenview to target audiences.


At the outset of the branding project, All Together performed a comprehensive discovery process, which included a community survey as well as stakeholder conversations with groups of business owners, realtors, local taxing bodies, area organizations, residents, elected officials, Village staff and more.


Months of outreach, research and conversation pointed to a consistent theme. When asked what makes Glenview special, people described it as a place with good schools, good neighbors, strong services and a community that shows up for each other.


The new brand, including the tagline "Glenview Good," builds on that shared perspective. It reflects a standard of quality that is steady, approachable and rooted in everyday experience.


On April 7, 2026, All Together unveiled the Village's new brand at a meeting of the Board of Trustees. The full brand launch is anticipated to begin this summer, when residents will see the new brand appear across Village communications, including the website, social media and community materials.

We protect and celebrate our environmental gifts—ancient trees, prairies, and forest preserves—as essential to who we are.

We create a community where life's essentials and pleasures are never far away, including neighborhood parks, diverse faith communities, one-stop shopping, and express trains to Chicago.


Brand Story


The five key themes informed the Village's brand story, which provides the foundation of the new brand.


Glenview’s story has always been one of transformation. Where history is honored without being frozen, and where progress and preservation walk hand in hand.


A family farmstead became Wagner Farm, a destination that embodies the balance of progress and tradition. Naval Air Station Glenview, which played a vital role during World War II, gave way to The Glen, a walkable neighborhood and lifestyle center that honors its past. And in Downtown Glenview, a flourishing restaurant scene provides a space for families, young couples and visitors alike to enjoy dinner or craft cocktails before a live show. 


Generation after generation returns here, drawn to our tree-lined streets, beloved shops, and big-hearted neighbors.


Glenview is where excellence comes without attitude. Our schools consistently rank among the region's best, our gold-medal park district sets the standard, and our strategic location creates something our lakefront neighbors can't match: accessibility from every direction.
